The Grapevine: For Writers

Greetings!
It looks like you and I have the same idea about writing a blog about writing...I'll come back and spend more time here, but wanted to quickly thank you for your comments on my "Freelance Success" story...I hadn't heard anything back from the editor since our initial correspondence earlier this year, so I emailed him last week and just got his response today--an assignment for a 2000-word story for $600! Needless to say, I was very happy--and it's my birthday today which makes it even sweeter!
